Looking through the viewfinder often makes me feel like I am looking at a scene from a movie. There are many scenarios I created inspired by the printed photographs. A story with a scene and a photo. The collection of the stories by many persons from many places certainly exists as โFound stories from a movie that doesnโt existโ.

What People Are Saying
"I finished my commercial narration and went to the subway. As soon as I opened the small book that Mr. Hishikawa had just given me, I saw a soft-faced conductor! I wondered if he was French. I snapped a picture of the moment when he seemed to be saying something like, "Don't panic, Grandma. All of the photos are ordinary scenes from my daily life, and as I look at the expressions on the faces of the people, I am reminded that I am the star of my own daily life. Everyday life has no borders. France, Germany, Scotland, Italy.... while riding the Tokyo subway. What a luxurious trip I had. The impromptu(?) text that accompanied the photos became another squeeze. This is a three-dimensional composition book in which the improvised(?) text accompanying the photos becomes another aperture to capture the subject. The sharp eyes that just a moment ago were glaring at the client with a hatchet, "How about this?" are usually the owner of such a gentle gaze."

"It's hard to explain, even if you ask me to. But there is definitely something there. Mr. Hishikawa is surely an artist who is taking on such a difficult challenge. However, the things he creates are never complicated. They have an air of playfulness about them. I envy him and hate him for that."

โMr. Hishikawa is unquestionably cool, his works, his personality, and of course his photographs. That's why I call him Mr. Hishikawa, even though he is a few years younger than me. I hope I can find some fragment or piece of him in this photo exhibition. Not only is he cool, beautiful, and lovely, but he is also โkunโyou" instead of โsanโ. There is a mischievous side. I feel like there is a possibility. It may be possible, it may not be possible, but... it may be possible. Let's look for the fragments of "Hishikawa-kun" in this photo exhibition.โ
